Crescent nebula

Crescent nebula is located in the constellation Cygnus. It is a super nova remnant and in the image, you can see the Hydrogen core with its expanding Oxygen envelope. Notice the faint Bubble soap nebula in the right bottom part of the image.

This was taken as a Bi-color image where the Hydrogen channel was assigned to the red color and the Oxygen channel to the green and blue.
